Restaurant Avintola Kellarikrouvi

Upon its completion this building - the work of famed architects Gesellius, Lindgren and Saarinen - attracted a great deal of attention for its simple and elegant style. After many twists and turns along the way, the basement was turned into a restaurant in 1965. Restaurant Kellarikrouvi consists of the popular street-level restaurant/bar and the unique underground cellar restaurant.

Kellarikrouvi restaurant is known for its excellent, moderately priced finnish food, and for its a la carte and special menus. The tastes are traditional and the portions of a fair size. A la carte menu offers a number of delicacies worth giving a try.
